Earlier this week, it was confirmed that the album was nominated in the “Best Rap Recording of 2008” category for a Juno Award. Other nominees include Belly and Brassmunk. Of the nomination, Marco Polo told HipHopDX late Friday, “Getting
nominated for a Juno Award is an incredible honor for myself and my
crew behind the making of
Port Authority…being recognized amongst
your home countries best is extremely humbling and encouraging, it
would be a great thing for the Canadian Hip Hop scene for me to take
home this award, regardless I’m grateful just to be included
.”
