Busta Rhymes is one of the most iconic rappers in Hip Hop history thanks to his generation-defining music videos and multi-platinum hits. The Brooklyn rap legend has been receiving his flowers lately whenever his name comes up in Verzuz conversations, but there’s a new rapper who’s saluting Bus-A-Bus in her own way.

On Thursday (September 30), Texas rapper Big Jade dropped a music video where she hops on Busta Rhyme’s classic 1997 “Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Could See.” The video —directed by Two3Films and Big Jade herself — finds the young MC rapping in front of several television screens and white background as she eviscerates the Epitome-produced hit song.

“Turn my shit up when you hear it, I want to hear my shit loud/But you could really cut my music, and my shit is still loud to the crowd/I ain’t even got the mic yet I’m smoking and my shit loud,” Big Jade rapped to open the 1-minute freestyle.

People looking for the freestyle can find it on Big Jade’s latest release Jade Wins which dropped on September 21 on SoundCloud. The 10-track project finds the Beaumont, Texas rapper hopping on several classic Hip Hop records such as “Knuck If You Buck” by Crime Mob and “Ms. Jackson” by Outkast.

As for Busta Rhymes, Fat Joe claims rappers are afraid to take on the 49-year-old in the Verzuz ring. During a recent Instagram Live session, Joey Crack made the revelation and even threw his name in the mix of people who are hesitant in challenging Busta.

“Fat Joe scared to do Verzuz with Busta Rhymes, and so is everybody else,” he said. “You gotta understand, sometimes you ever notice — you seen boxers, and they knock everybody out? People be scared to fight those boxers.

“Busta Rhymes is gonna outrap, outperform anybody who goes up in a Verzuz with him. That’s a fact. Yo, Busta Rhymes nobody wanna get in there with you, man. You might have to be an honorary — they gotta give you the check for no reason.”
