Cleveland, Oh

Following their 26-6 victory over the Chicago Bears, Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield had some fun at the podium during his postgame press conference on Sunday (September 26).

Mayfield has been known to fill his answers to the media with pop culture references and Kanye West happened to be his theme of choice after the victory. The 26-year-old quarterback name-dropped numerous albums from Kanye’s decorated discography with his replies.

“Obviously, losing a guy like Jarvis, one of our key skill players, you have to have people step up so it was a blessing to have the Late Registration of Odell come in and play for us,” he said of star wide receiver Odell Beckham’s timely return to the lineup.

He continued, “We’re continuing to get better and finding ways to win. There’s never going to be a point where you feel like you’ve reached that Graduation level and you have mastered the offensive system. You always want to try and improve. For us, we each have that mindset of not being College Dropout(s), continuing to get better and finding ways to win.”

Baker Mayfield finished with 246 passing yards and one touchdown in the blowout victory. The Browns now turn their attention to a date with the Minnesota Vikings next Sunday (October 3).
