South Korean stars and real-life couple HyunA and Dawn are set to launch as a duo next month.

Their agency, P Nation, announced the news via Instagram on August 16, stating that their collaborative debut will premiere on September 9.

Singer HyunA teased a snippet of an upcoming music video on her Instagram account. In the caption, the former 4Minute member wrote in Korean that the filming took “two full days,” and that she had fainted on set “several times” while performing, and that an ambulance was on standby on set “for the first time.” “Even while preparing, your body doesn’t follow up 100 percent… My blood pressure at the time was 70/40. I couldn’t continue shooting right away,” she said. She went on to thank her fans and her team for their continued support and promised to “take better care of my body.”

HyunA has been open with her health challenges. In 2019, she posted a letter on Instagram revealing that she deals with depression, panic disorder, and vasovagal syncope (a condition that can lead to fainting). She wrote in part, “Although I was cautious, I didn’t hide it and gathered up the courage to try to talk about it. I’m going to keep bravely trying to be well, but I think people can’t be perfect.”

Meanwhile, Dawn also shared a teaser of the two caught up in a passionate moment during the video shoot.

The news was first hinted on Rolling Stone Korea’s maiden issue in May, featuring HyunA and Dawn on the cover. “HyunA and Dawn are working on a joint project together, marking a first-of-its-kind KPOP release: a real-life couple will promote as a musical duo.”

Although this will be the duo’s first release together under the Psy-owned P Nation, it is not the first time they have performed together. During their time signed under Cube Entertainment, HyunA and Dawn worked together with PENTAGON’s leader Hui as 2/3 of the short-lived hip hop group, Triple H.

The upcoming venture will be their first release since HyunA’s solo 2021 EP, I’m Not Cool, and Dawn’s 2020 EP, DAWNDIDIDAWN. The couple and labelmates first started dating in 2016 and are the first couple to debut as a duo in K-pop.

While we’re waiting, here’s Triple H’s “_365 FRESH”:
