Lil Durk paid homage to an array of classic music videos and standout pop culture moments from Kanye West’s decorated career with his “Kanye Krazy” video. While Yeezy hasn’t responded publicly to it yet, Lil Wayne showed love to Durk regarding the Cole Bennett-directed clip on Sunday (January 31).

Since the New Orleans rap legend has often been disconnected from music culture for the past decade, it’s worth asking if he’s even seen West’s “Famous” video or a bunch of the other cultural moments that Durk acknowledges.

As for Wayne, he’s stayed busy amid 2020’s turbulence and ended up releasing or being part of more than 50 songs in total for the calendar year. Following the release of his “Ain’t Got Time” single, fans can expect Weezy to keep heating up the streets in 2021.
