As Mulatto continues to climb the rap hierarchy, the self-proclaimed Queen of Da Souf has a little something to say. Earlier this week, her idol Nicki Minaj appeared to intentionally unfollow several of her peers, raising eyebrows on social media.

The first winner of The Rap Game was one of them — and fans couldn’t wait to drag her for the alleged snub. But on Tuesday (January 5), Nicki shared a message to her Instagram Story assuring her 126 million followers she was “sorting out” the apparent mishap. Mulatto took notice and tweeted, “Where all the trolls go that was laughing that Nicki unfollowed me. Y’all quiet neowwww.”

Nicki is still working on updating her Instagram account. On Wednesday (January 6), the multi-platinum artist shared another message on her Instagram Story that read, “I’ll be ‘following’ for the next few days yall. Not done. Stop.”

Mulatto, who was named one of HipHopDX’s Best Female Rappers of 2020, recently channeled Nicki for her new video “Sex Lies” featuring Lil Baby. The track comes from the deluxe version of her debut album Queen Of The Souf, which was released last month. The original album was released in August and featured 13 tracks with appearances from Gucci Mane, City Girls, Trina, Saweetie, 21 Savage and more.
