Election Day 2020’s on the mind of many Americans as citizens cast their ballots to decide who’ll be president for the next four years. Kid Cudi encouraged his Twitter followers to vote for Democratic candidate Joe Biden, sharing a photo of him wearing his “I Voted” sticker on Tuesday (November 3).

“Vote for Biden if you a real one,” he wrote.

Cudi joins artists such as Eminem and 2 Chainz in endorsing Biden. The incumbent Donald Trump has received some support from Hip Hop though, including Lil Pump showing up a one of his campaign rallies.

Beyond the election, Cudi closed out October by launching an interactive live music app called Encore. The digital platform is designed to help artists monetize their audience and connect with them at a time when touring is off the table due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The energy from a concert is undeniable, both for the fans and artists,” Cudi said in a press release. “I am excited to launch Encore to help bring the live music experience back to our fans. Encore is committed to empowering both established and new artists and delivering the best mobile music experience out there.”

In addition to his business moves, Cudi’s acting career continues to flourish as he’s landed a role in Netflix’s Don’t Look Up starring Leonardo DiCaprio. He’s still got music in the works too, recently teasing his next albumMan On The Moon III.
