50 Cent does not hate cops. The rapper recently spoke to teenagers about this. Last Friday, which was named “50 Cent Curtis Jackson Day,” Middle School and High School students went to Mayor John M. Fabrizi‘s office where they were given a surprise visit from Fiddy. There, 50 spoke on his appreciation for cops.

“I say in one of my songs I hate cops. I don’t hate cops,” he said, according to MTV. “But I am expressing the feelings of a young boy who sees the cops take his brother away, and hates them for it.”

When asked why he doesn’t show this more in his lyrics, 50 replied.

“Rap is very competitive. You can’t show your vulnerabilities, or another artist will use that against you in their content. Also, you don’t paint the whole picture at one time, with one color. I want to show more of my character, but it has to come out over time.”

50 has been working on a new film, Righteous Kill in Bridgeport and reportedly wanted to give back. As further proof of this, The G-Unity Foundation gave $25,000 to Hall Neighborhood House, which is an education program.
