50 Cent has been doing the press rounds ahead of the premiere of For Life, his forthcoming ABC drama about Isaac Wright Jr. who was imprisoned for a crime he didn’t commit. While speaking to Access, the Power mogul was asked about the recent controversy surrounding Gayle King’s interview with WNBA legend Lisa Leslie.

During their conversation, King asked Leslie about Kobe Bryant’s 2003 sexual assault case, which didn’t sit well with a number of people considering Bryant was killed in a helicopter crash late last month.

“I don’t understand what the goal is,” he said. “To be honest, after the man has passed away, what is the goal at that point? I do think it’s unfair to his legacy. I’m all for the actual movement, but is it for justice or is it for revenge?

Snoop Dogg was also vocal about not only his disdain for King’s questions but also Oprah Winfrey who has faced criticism due to her affiliation with the Russell Simmons sexual assault documentary, On The Record.

He issued a simple “fuck u and Gayle King” while calling for Bill Cosby’s freedom. Cosby, in turn, thanked Snoop from prison where he’s currently serving three to 10 years for the sexual assault of a former Temple University employee.

Sports journalist Jemele Hill then reminded Snoop the disgraced comedian is a convicted sexual predator, while former U.S. National Security Adviser Susan Rice called Snoop’s commentary  “despicable” and warned the West Coast OG to “back the **** off.”

Snoop ultimately clarified his original statements, saying, “I’m a non-violent person. When I said what I said, I spoke for the people who felt like Gayle was very disrespectful towards Kobe Bryant and his family. Now with that being said, what’d I look like want some harm to come to a 70-year-old woman? I was raised way better than that.

“I didn’t want no harm to come to her, I didn’t threaten her. All I did was say check it out, you out of pocket for what you doing and we watching you. Have a little bit more respect for Vanessa, her babies and Kobe Bryant’s legacy.”
