Houston, TX

Trae Tha Truth’s Relief Gang was back in action Tuesday night (May 7) to help fellow Houston residents dealing with flash flooding. The veteran MC and his crew were patrolling the city to aid anyone stranded in high-water locations.

93.7 The Beat’s Mr. Rogers and Trae used social media to connect with those in need. The Relief Gang’s efforts involved transporting students that had been stuck at Woodridge Forest Middle School in the Greater Houston area.

“Houston Flooding- @reliefgang Rescue’s .. Helping Those In Need,” Trae wrote. “School With over 400 Students Stranded Needed Assistance, We Got the call about the area and went to do what we do best!! @traeabn @djmrrogers We Are One!!”

Trae created the Relief Gang when Houston and southeast Texas were devastated by Hurricane Harvey in 2017. The ABN rapper and his crew were among those on the frontlines rescuing people and dispensing supplies in Houston, Port Arthur and Beaumont.
