Only a few days after body cam footage of Lil Pump’s airport arrest was released, his charges have been dropped. According to TMZ, Pump’s attorney Kenneth Weisman appeared in a Miami courtroom on Monday morning (February 25) and the judge overseeing the case decided not to pursue the disorderly conduct charge.

Pump was stopped at the Miami International Airport last December as he was attempting to fly to Los Angeles. Officers accused the 18-year-old rap star of carrying weed in his luggage.

When Pump denied it was his, an officer flipped out on him and started screaming in his face. However, Pump was ultimately arrested for disorderly conduct.

Unsurprisingly, Weisman was satisfied with judge’s decision and applauded the State Attorney’s Office.

“I commend the State Attorney’s Office for concluding that the underlying incident was nothing more than an emotionally charged police-citizen encounter that involved no criminal wrongdoing on the part of [Lil Pump],” he said.

The Miami Police Department is currently reviewing the tape to determine if the officer did indeed overreact.

For now, Pump evidently has better things to do. Later this year, he will become the youngest person to deliver the Harvard University commencement speech in the school’s history.

“You don’t gotta graduate from Harvard to do this speech,” he said in a press release. “I dropped out, so they called me like they called the guy that made Windows and PCs and shit before I was born. You just need a cap and gown, which I got.

“When I found out, I was happy to give everyone a lesson. I’m all about the youth. Yes, they are the future. This is a preview of my speech, one word: ESSKEETIT!!!!!!”
