Suge Knight is of the belief that Diddy will start naming celebrities if he testifies in his own sex trafficking trial.
Speaking from prison to former Bad Boy Records artist Aubrey O’Day on the Covering the Diddy Trial podcast, Suge discussed what he thought would happen if Diddy took the stand.
Responding to O’Day’s question about if Diddy will name others if he decides to give evidence, Knight said: “He might be stupid sometimes, but he’s not dumb. If they give Puffy the opportunity to humanize himself, it’ll be the best thing for the culture of Hip Hop. It’ll be one of the biggest power moves of the US.”
The Death Row Records co-founder added: “Cut the deal first. Get a situation where wherever you say on the stand, they use against you. When you get on that stand, fix Hip Hop, fix the culture of our people.”

Suge had previously opined that Diddy will get a pardon from Donald Trump in the event that he is convicted of sex trafficking.
During an interview with NewsNation, Suge said: “I think he’s got some favors with the government. I think they’re gonna show him a little leeway. It might not seem like it when it’s all said and done, but I don’t think he has nothing to worry about, and I don’t think he’s worried because he’s gonna be federal, and if he gets convicted, Trump’s gonna pardon him.”
The controversial rap mogul added: “I still feel that Puffy is going to be alright and have a fair shot at it. He’s not a not a dummy. And I’m quite sure somebody going to talk to those jurors and convince one or two of them that’s all you need, is one.”
Knight also denied claims that he was confronted by Diddy in Los Angeles after Cassie claimed during her testimony that the Bad Boy Records founder left a freak off to go and see his old nemesis.Knight said: “A good thing they didn’t show up. Somebody would have got hurt.”

During her testimony, Cassie claimed that Diddy brought one of their freak off sessions to a half after learning that Suge Knight was nearby at a diner.
She claimed: “We were having a freak-off in one of [Diddy’s] homes in LA and he said Suge was at Mel’s Diner, and we packed up and drove down there.”
