At this point in time, nothing Tory Lanez says or does is necessarily shocking. After all, he’s already insisted he’s the “best rapper alive.” So why not hit on an engaged woman? On Monday night (January 28), Lanez took his shot at Empire actress Taraji P. Henson during one of his Instagram Stories.
“This prolly won’t happen,” he wrote. “But I just need once chance w/ @tarajiphenson…I’ll change her life. Be singing to her every night.”
Henson has been engaged to former NFL player Kelvin Hayden since last May. But Lanez apparently took a few notes from Positive K’s “I Got A Man” and went for it anyway.

Lanez has been embroiled in controversy since making his bold “best rapper alive” claim last week. Don Q has fired off two diss track aimed at the Canadian rapper — “I’m Not Joyner” and “This Is Ya King?” — while J.R. Writer unleashed “Head Shot.”
Several Dreamville Records artists, including J.I.D, EarthGang and Cozz, are also on high alert and ready to take Lanez “on sight.”
