DeKalb County, GA – Young Thug is a free man once again.

Thugger’s longtime girlfriend Jerrika Karlae revealed he was released from jail on Thursday (September 13), thanking his lawyers in an Instagram post.

“BIG THANK YOU TO THESE AMAZING TWO MR BRIAN STEELE AND @drewfindling,” she wrote. “THE GOAT IS FREE #GODISGOOD @thuggerthugger1 continue making history and touching the masses with your talent.”

Thug turned himself into authorities earlier this week after a warrant was issued for his arrest. A grand jury indicted him on multiple felony drug charges stemming from a 2017 arrest.

In the midst of being a wanted man, Thug began promoting a new album titled On The Run. The project will feature the contributions of Elton John, Jaden Smith, 6LACK and T-Shyne.

Young Thug is no longer on the run. According to DeKalb County records, Thugger was processed and booked for five felony drug charges on Monday afternoon (September 10).

The charges against Thug, whose real name is Jeffery Williams, stem from a 2017 arrest for drug and gun possession.

TMZ reported a warrant for Thug’s arrest was issued after a grand injury indicted him on charges of possession and intent to distribute methamphetamine, hydrocodone and marijuana. He was also charged with possession of amphetamine, Alprazolam, codeine and a firearm.
