NEW YORK, NY

Despite releasing her fourth studio album Queen just under two weeks ago, Nicki Minaj certainly is enduring at lot at this point in her career.

From rehashed drama with Cardi B to newfound drama with Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner, it seems that Nicki has found herself with a surplus of enemies. But one artist, in particular, has offered some sympathy and understanding to the megastar rapper.

On Monday (August 20), Chance The Rapper appeared to send out a tweet showing his support for Nicki.

“I cant imagine what it’d be like to literally not be able to show yo frustrations with actual inequities and subjugation. Without being called bitter or angry or a liar or crazy. Mfs a literally tell a BW ‘I feel u but u not goin about it the right way’… what?,” Chance wrote.

Although Chance didn’t name names in his tweet, his reference to a black woman unable to express her frustrations without criticism does line up with the backlash Nicki has faced as of late.

The latest batch of criticism for the musician came immediately after she appeared to compare herself to Harriet Tubman. Despite an outcry from the comment, Nicki told a TMZ videographer “I am the new Harriet Tubman” while heading to the MTV VMAs on Monday.
