The newly engaged 2 Chainz has been doing a great job of keeping his The Play Don’t Care Who Makes It EP buzzing several months after its release (and a countless onslaught of new music from his contemporaries).
While appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live, 2 Chainz performed his latest single, “Proud” alongside YG — and alongside both of their mothers. Towards the end of live rendition, the Atlanta rap star rocked a remix verse as the backing band flipped the instrumental to Frankie Beverly & Maze’s classic, “Before I Let Go.”
The Jimmy Kimmel Live performance was a direct continuation to the official “Proud” music video (down below) where the Hip Hop matriarchs were also present. The single also features Offset, who was unavailable for the Los Angeles taping of the show.
