If things weren’t bad enough for the members of D-12, it seems another member of their entourage is the focus of what amounts to a legal misunderstanding.
A warrant was issued for the arrest of D-12 member Swift. The emcee missed a court hearing to discuss the terms of his probation after pleading guilty last October to a charge of operating a vehicle while visibly impaired. He was acting as pallbearer at DeShaun Holton, aka Proof’s funeral.
Judge Brian Mackenzie issued the warrant for Swift’s arrest on the same day of the funeral, even stating that he knew the rapper was serving as a pallbearer.
Swift, real name Ondre Moore was arrested in Detroit and was sentenced to three months for violating the terms of his probation. Swift allegedly tested positive for alcohol, despite the terms stating he would steer clear of drugs and alcohol.
