50 Cent Throws Shade At Puff Daddy Over Lack Of Hits

Among the list of names 50 Cent trolls on the regular is Puff Daddy, his Vodka-brand nemesis.

50 threw some more shots at the Bad Boy Entertainment mogul during an appearance at a club in Scottsdale, Arizona.

“Name the last Puffy single,” 50 says to the crowd from the DJ booth in a clip uploaded to Instagram. “Do anybody in here know what the last Puffy single was?”

A few people nearby pull out their phones to look it up after he asks the crowd to “Google that shit.”

Puff hasn’t had an actual hit for years, although his “Finna Get Loose” collaboration with Pharrell peaked at #44 on the Billboard Top R&B/Rap Songs chart in 2015. He’s had one #1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 in his career, with 1997’s “I’ll Be Missing You.” Several other songs charted in the Top 5 between 1997-1999.

At this stage in his career, Puffy seems more intent on making moves outside of the music business. It seems to be working for him, coming in at #22 on the Forbes list of the highest-earning celebrities for 2016 with $62 million.

50 Cent, meanwhile, had three #1 hits on the Hot 100 in his time as an artist, “In Da Club,” “21 Questions” and “Candy Shop.” His most recent song to hit the Hot 100 was 2012’s “My Life” featuring Eminem and Adam Levine. Since then he’s had several more songs chart on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart, most recently peaking at #46 with “I’m The Man” in 2016.

      1. I think he secretly likes Puff, he always bringing Puff and Nas name up in all his interviews. And doesn’t Puff have more hits than this dude? 50 always got something to say, just don’t call Puff broke, we won’t do that now would we?

        1. These dudes all in the closet fam, he just mad he left him for Ross and French. Coincidence he disses them too?

      2. Nah dude, you just love Fifty, period. Your just another Fifty stan who wants to give him that sloppy toppy. If anybody is doing the ass kissing, its you. Dont get me wrong, Puffy is a tool, but the irony in Fifty trying to mock somebody else. Has this nigga looked in the mirror lately? No hot music in years,Dry snitched more than once on niggaz, Went bankrupt,Poses with fake money, Made a stupid nobody skank into a multi-millionaire, Mocks mentally disabled people etc.etc. The list goes on.

        1. In his defense, he did not know that the young man that he harrased is disabled. If I saw him I would immediately suspect that he was high on something, and it sure as hell isn’t on God.

        2. Bullshit none of anything you put on here has any credibility it seemseems like youve been sucking his…… Because you seem to know fifs real intentions lmaooo and do your research he’s still worth 150 million

    1. Thing is doe, Puff aint no real rapper. Everybody knows that shit. 50 is supposed to be, and when is the last time this nigga had a hit? Aint nobody lookin for a boring 50 single with him “singing” the chorus. Foh you rat fuck.

    2. this go back from when puff was scared to signhim back the90’s and when he didnt want to give the rights to mase after he spent all the money on him

    3. Diddy out promoting his sons even Al B Sure son, while 50 shits on his seed every chance he gets

    4. Puffy has one thing going for him: he put Biggie on. Don’t get me wrong, Big was already making a name for himself, but Puff put Big on. Puffy owes much of his success to Big. That being said, 50 was right: Puff hasn’t had a hit in years, BUT that being said, neither has 50. 50 hasn’t put on any artists that garnered the attention that Biggie did, and 50 was once a star that has all but fallen into relative obscurity. The crazy thing about it is: Puff doesn’t give a fuck about rapping, he’s just doing his thing, but Fif is still trying to regain his relevancy in the rap game. Yeah, he’s got some hardcore fans out there, but nowhere near when he first blew up. So, really who is he to talk? Hell, you hear absolutely NOTHING about ANY of his artists anymore. So, he just seems to be picking on Puff to make himself seem like the man. In all actuality, they’re the same person: two dudes that fell off a LOOOONG time ago, are now making money in other ventures, and would be better off if they left music alone for good.

    5. Lol… 50 lost hard though. Does he not realize that Puff is not a rapper? — Puff raps as a hobby. 50 raps as a career. They both haven’t had hits in the last 10 years yet Puff keeps being number 1 on Forbes and 50 is now pulling bankruptcy maneuvers.

      ** Kanye Shrug **

    6. All of you sideline spectators need to shut the fuck up. No one cares about any of your bs comments. I bet the comments are made by a bunch of men who gossip like bitches.

    7. Who gives a shit about hits? That doesn’t automatically means your music is good. Listen to the title track of “Power of The Dollar” or U Ain’t No Gangsta and don’t tell me these songs ain’t better than his hits! The only good hit songs fifty was on are Hate It Or Love It and How We Do! It’s just a shame what fifty released after his unreleased debut!!

    8. You guys what to see some thing cool, I dare you to go to youtube an type in ( 50 Cent Gone Rogue ) and check out the freestyle a cappella video.

    9. P diddy run the city, it will never be another Puff Daddy bitch !
Show some respect for puff, he is the real ? King and 50 knows that. That’s why everyday he has something to say about puff.
Puffy just laughs at 50 .

How about the fact that puffy is the riches nigga on the Forbes list!
      Billionaire level baby.
