Logic admits that his yet-untitled third studio album could act as a sequel to his recently released sophomore LP, The Incredible True Story.

Released last November, The Incredible True Story was labeled a “motion picture sci-fi epic.” The album’s space inspired-narrative takes place 100 years in the future where a handful of inhabitants are on a voyage to travel to a far off planet dubbed “Paradise.”

At the end of the album’s final track, life is found and during a newly published interview with Hip Hop Early, Logic admits that it ends perfectly for a potential sequel.

“It could continue,” Logic said. “I even had that conversation. I’m not gonna super get into this because we’re still on this album but yes, it could go somewhere. It’s the perfect lead in to continue the story. But I think that’s why it’s so great left to the imagination. It’s like, ‘What happens? Do they colonize the planet? Do they make it? Are they cool? Is everything good?’ It does obviously end on a nice note [with] life so it’s not like, ‘What’s that sound? Oh it’s fucking aliens killing each other.’

“So, could it?”Logic continues. “Yes. But I will say as of where my mental direction is gonna go — I’m not getting in there but where I’m heading for it, it doesn’t involve a sequel, at this time.”
