Many albums were released Friday (December 4) as artists seek to get their music out before the end of the year.
G-Eazy’s sophomore LP, When It’s Dark Out, was one of the projects and Hits Daily Double predicts it will be the top-selling Rap album when the sales figures are released next week. The site says it will sell between 115,000 and 130,000 album equivalent units including streams.
Rick Ross’ Black Market is set to follow, predicted at 60,000 album equivalent units. Last year, the Miami rapper released two albums. Mastermind debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart and Hood Billionaire peaked at the #6 position.
Kid Cudi’s alternative album, Speedin’ Bullet to Heaven, is slated to sell between 18,000 and 21,000 units.

Coldplay’s A Head Full of Dreams is projected to be the top-selling album of the week with as many as 180,000 album units.
