After performing one show in Denver, Kid Cudi took to Twitter yesterday (December 1) to cancel the rest of his tour dates for the year.
“By now im sure you all have heard but for those who haven’t I’ve decided to cancel my tour,” he says in the post. “Things weren’t together production wise and I need a bit to make some changes. I got a lot im dealing with at this time in my personal life too and in order for the shows to be the best experience possible, as well as keeping my sanity intact, I need to regroup. I have to. Im upset and im sure some of you are too. Im sorry for any inconviences I may have caused and I look forward to seeing all your smiling faces and feeling all your glorious love and energy at the top of next year.”
With the announcement, Cudi released the title track for his forthcoming Speedin’ Bullet to Heavenalbum.
“As a little something, I’ve decided to put my next single, ‘Speedin’ Bullet 2 Heaven’ on my soundcloud early for you to enjoy. Produced by Plain Pat and myself, it is our hope that this song makes you feel something again. I fuckin love each and everyone of you with all I got and again, I am really really sorry yall. I’ll be seeing you soon. I wanna send mega mad love to everyone in Denver who came out and showed support and love throughout the entire show. I’ll redo your show as well : ) it’s only right.”

Hey Reverb called Cudi’s Denver performance at The Fillmore Auditorium Monday (November 30) “head-scratching.” The review said he performed a medley of Rock songs for the first 25 minutes of the show while the crowd stared on. The energy picked up when he played his more familiar material, but the concert seems to not have recovered enough to finish the tour.
