Snoop Dogg Gives Away More Than 1,000 Thanksgiving Turkeys

A week before Thanksgiving, Snoop Dogg held the second annual Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway in Inglewood, California.

Despite being late to the event on Thursday (November 19) held at The Forum, Snoop was joined by Inglewood Mayor James Butts along with other city officials to help pass out over 1,500 Thanksgiving turkeys to families in need.

“I’m happy I’m here,” said the BUSH rapper in a speech published by TMZ today (November 20). “Inglewood, y’all know I love y’all. This is my second home. Inglewood has been good to me from day one and that’s why I love Inglewood. I just want to let y’all know that I’mma be doing this every year. Sorry I’m late but we are going to make up for it by giving away some big fat turkeys so you can get your eat on this Thanksgiving.”

After Snoop finished passing out the turkeys, he greeted over 800 fans waiting in line to meet him.

      1. For sure. Always cool to see artists give back to their communities, especially someone as big as Snoop.

    1. Definitely a good thing but I’d love to see celebrities doing this at any other time then Thanksgiving, it just seems fake after a while. Every damn celebrity gets generous around Thanksgiving and Christmas as if the rest of the year the same people don’t have the same problems.
