The relationship between 50 Cent and his son, Marquise Jackson is still strained, according to Jackson. Jackson was asked about his relationship with his father while speaking with Bossip on the Sprite green carpet for the BET Hip Hop Awards, last weekend.

He explained that there aren’t any problems on his end, and says he one day hopes they’ll be able to figure things out with their relationship.

“Our relationship is still strained, but as far as on my end, it’s all love,” Marquise Jackson said. “I don’t have any problems. Well, maybe one day we’ll figure it out and everything could be well. But as of right now, the relationship is still strained.”

“Of course it affects you,” he said. “That’s your mom and your dad. God just gives me the willpower to stay strong, keep on moving, keep being positive. So, that’s all I can do…I do watch ‘Power.’ I see he killed me. I don’t know why. I don’t know why he killed me, man. I mean, it is what it is.
