During the promotional rounds for their upcoming EP, 50 Cent alongside G-Unit sat down with Angie Martinez to talk about various topics including Fif’s strained relationship with his son, Marquise Jackson.

“I haven’t spoken to him. I don’t speak to him. With him that situation is so complex, I think over time she [Marquise’s mother] has instilled her entitlement.

“Possibly,” 50 adds regarding whether he’d be willing to fix the problem. “I’d be listening to see what he’d be saying. I don’t understand it to be honest with you… You seen him sitting next to Floyd [Mayweather] when he thought I had a problem with Floyd. You seen him sitting next to Slow[bucks]. It’s too cool to not be little 50, that he’s associated to everything around me but me.”

Later on in the conversation, 50 again opened up about his views towards FOX’s Hip Hop-themed show Empire, reiterating his take that the show is similar to that of Glee.

“I’ve seen it three times. It’s like Glee. I like the people on it. I have friends there, Terrance Howard there. I like Taraji’s work.”
