Jon Connor Says Debut Album Is Coming

Jon Connor’s appearance on Dr. Dre’s Compton: A Soundtrack by Dr. Dre was the Flint, Michigan rapper‘s first music released on Aftermath Entertainment since signing to the label in 2013.

Connor says to XXL that his debut album is on the way.

“It’s coming,” he says. “The album is actually coming. Actually, it’s more complete than y’all think.”

Connor says that the other artists featured on Compton are preparing projects, but individual music has not been the priority lately.

“The whole team got music coming and it’s gonna be super crazy,” he says. “But as of right now, man, people need to hear Compton, because that’s a piece of Hip Hop history. So before I even get to talking about my album, there’ll be time for that, but right now I just want to let Dre and his legacy live right now.”

    1. As long as it comes out within the next few years, I’m okay with the schedule. It will be worth the wait.

      1. Even if he drove an Chevrolet/Dodge/Kia or any other plastic piece of a shit car, he would still be better than 95 % of rappers out there.

    2. Jon Connor, the son of Sarah Connor and Kyle Reese, is the leader of the worldwide human Resistance, as well as the more specialised Tech-Com. Skynet, the supercomputer mainframe of the machines, decides that Jon Connor is the focal point of the rebellion and his termination would end the opposition. After repeated failures at terminating Jon during the war, Skynet decides to use a time displacement device to send Terminators to various points in the past in an attempt to terminate him before the war even begins.

    3. Connor spits some real shit, but his beat choice is hit or miss. Some of the songs he was on were the only things I liked on Compton. I’ll be looking to see what he cooks up when he debuts. We need somebody else to bring a new perspective to the table.

    4. His album will be released right after Hittmans, Stat Quo’s, Bishop’s, Slim da Mobsters and King T’s. That’s real talk Jon Connor, who gonna take you serious with a name like that anyways?

    5. With Compton Dre released an album designed and crafted in 2002 in 2015. Times changed, no wonder it flopped.

Not true, he only crafted this in the last year or so. Detox was a separate album which was scrapped, I highly doubt there’s a song on here which is even two years old.
