The ongoing saga between crooner Chris Brown and Nia Guzman, the mother of his daughter Royalty, has continued this month.

According to TMZ, Guzman “fears for the safety” of Royalty when she’s alone with Brown, and is asking that a judge require Brown to be around at least one other person when he’s with his daughter.

“Chris Brown’s baby mama fears for the safety of their daughter when she’s alone with him … so she’s asking a judge to ONLY allow him to see 1-year-old Royalty when someone else is around,” TMZ reports. “We’re told Guzman wants full custody because she thinks Chris is simply too irresponsible to care for a kid on his own and she believes he and his friends all have substance abuse issues. He thinks it’s all just a ploy to get more child support.”

Brown is currently seeking joint custody of one-year-old Royalty.

Over the past year, Guzman and Brown have continuously gone back and forth over matters concerning child support.

In May, Guzman claimed that the singer stopped paying his monthly child support payments of $2,500. It was also reported that payments from Brown stopped once Guzman demanded $15,000 a month in child support.

And in July, it was reported that Brown filed legal documents to establish paternity and to also have a judge set an amount for child support.
