Long Beach, California rapper and one-third of Tha Eastsidaz, Tray Deee recently sat down with Vlad TV to share his thoughts on being a gangster on social media.

“You can’t be feared on social media because you don’t know who’s on the other end of that line,” Tray Deee says within the clip. “If you have a feared reputation coming onto social media, I believe you’ll be challenged by anonymous individuals.”

Deee, who recently spoke on Young Thug and Game’s social media spat, says that being “gangsta” and Instagram don’t go together.

“Not at all,” he says. “If you’re a gangster on Instagram, I would think you were just trying to get some chicks or you’re just dumb to be exposing your exploits.”

Tha Eastsidaz emcee also mentions that he doesn’t receive too many crazy direct messages, mainly because he doesn’t present himself on the social media platform in that manner.

“My thing is mostly music and encouraging people to better themselves,” Deee says.
