Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Not Like Us’ Breaks All Time Rap Record

Kendrick Lamar‘s chart-topping diss track “Not Like Us” has now reached an entire year on the Billboard Hot 100.

In attaining the astonishing landmark, it has become the first ever rap song to spend 52 consecutive weeks on the chart.

No other Hip Hop song has spent more than a year on the chart.

Despite being released last May, “Not Like Us” still sits at number 22 on the chart and shows no signs of dropping off any time soon as it continues to still notch up airplay and impressive streaming numbers.

Kendrick also continues to break records with SZA collaboration “Luther” which has now sat at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 for 13 consecutive weeks.

“Luther” is now one of just 15 songs to reach that milestone.

It is also the longest charting Hip Hop number one in history.

Kendrick Lamar has been breaking records left and right over the last year, ever since the start of his feud with Drake.

He recently got to celebrate the fact that he put on the highest grossing show by a Black man in history.

The feat occurred at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on April 26, where his Grand National Tour (co-headlined by SZA) brought in a whopping $11.822 million in a single night.

The record was previously held by The Weeknd, who grossed $9.8 million at his 2022 concert at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

Earlier in the tour, Kendrick had already broken the record for highest grossing rap concert, an honor previously held by Eminem from when he toured Australia in 2019.

According to Touring Data, the opening night in Minneapolis grossed over $9.1 million from more than 47,000 fans at an average price of $192.70.

The gig also became the first ever rap concert to gross more than $9 million in a single night.

Looking ahead, Kendrick has been confirmed as the headliner for Australia’s Spilt Milk festival.

The touring festival, which took a year off in 2024, will set up camp in December (the Australian summer) at Ballarat/Wadawurrung, Perth/Whadjuk, Canberra/Ngunnawal and Gold Coast/Kombumerri.

As well as Lamar, the festival will be strongly represented by TDE with Doechii and ScHoolboy Q also high on the bill.

    1. Cap! Proves the truth they’re gassing him up fake stats. They did the same when Drake was their boy saying he surpassed MJ

    2. Somewhere a middle aged man who paints his fingernails and calls himself great greg, is somewhere punching the air in front of him.

    3. Drake is pop star trash, but not like us has to be one of the most annoying Kendrick s9ngs ever made. Dude ended up becoming a ratchet sound.

    4. All this fame and fortune thanks to Drake. If anything, Kendrick should be cutting royalty checks for the man that put him on the map with “Buried Alive”. Nobody GAF about K-Dot back when he was about to be another rapper that didn’t make it
