A day after launching his “3 AM” fragrance at Macy’s, Puff Daddy stopped by The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to promote the scent.

“3 AM is a feeling,” Puff tells Fallon, as he attempts to recall incidents that occur during the early-morning hour. “If you think about 3 AM, you’re with somebody that you really like. Maybe you’re not, but I am.

“It’s an intimate time,” he continues. “It’s a time to throw caution to the wind. When you do a fragrance, it allows you the license to be provocative, to have some sexy time.”

Puff says he’s already added it to his morning routine, where he showers, air drys, then applies “3 AM” onto his body.

The racy commercial and coinciding ad campaign featuring his girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, has been banned from television. Puff says he’s called networks to try to rectify the matter, but for now, the promo will only be available online via SeanJohn.com and here.
