Former drug kingpin Damion “World” Hardy was found guilty in Brooklyn Federal Court Wednesday (April 29) of orchestrating six murders, The New York Post reports.
Hardy, 40, allegedly dated Lil Kim for some time. He reportedly ran a drug ring near Kim’s original stomping grounds in the Lafayette Gardens projects in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn.
During the late ’90s, he was also convicted of attempted murder, kidnapping, and drug dealing.
This case lasted more than a decade due to Hardy’s lawyers arguing that since Hardy had been diagnosed with schizophrenia, he wasn’t fit to stand trial. As the case resumed, several members of Hardy’s Cash Money Brothers’ gang reportedly testified against him and shared details of his violent actions to jurors.
