Daz Dillinger recently discussed his relationship with Puff Daddy and The Notorious B.I.G.

Contrary to popular belief, Daz recently told VladTV that he was “cool” with B.I.G. and actually wanted Puffy to work on Tha Dogg Pound’s first album, Dogg Food.

“I was trying to get Puffy to mix Tha Dogg Pound album back then, because I didn’t know how to mix back then,” he reveals. Dre, he says, “was taking too long.”

Without the help of Puff, the album still reached the top of Billboard’s Hot 200 and sold over 2 million copies.

“We was cool,” he says. “He used to come down here, I used to serve him weed. He used to come down here with Mase…I did two songs with him that I got in the vaults somewhere…One was a verse and one he did a hook for me.”
