In an effort to expand their already notable public platform, WorldStarHipHop recently teamed up with Russell Simmons and All Def Digital in order to bring consumers new original content.
The new content is slated to be in different formats, according to Deadline. The partnership will produce video content and original music programming for subscriber and network television, as well as on the Internet. Specifically, the two are eyeing a YouTube comedy series and a Paramount Insurge feature film, which will both be through Simmons’ Def Pictures.
WorldStarHipHop has become known for its often entertaining yet controversial content. Since its creation 2005, the site has grown rapidly and now boasts 500 million page views a month.
