A few weeks ago, Damon Dash and Kanye West unveiled their first collaborative film, Loisaidas.

Now that fans have seen the first official offering from the pair, Dash has high hopes for the partnership and recently shared his sentiments with the New York Post.

Dash and West’s partnership began in 2001, when West produced material for artists on Roc-A-Fella Records. Dash, the co-founder of Roc-A-Fella, signed ‘Ye the next year.

For Loaisaidas, Dash co-wrote the script, directed the film and is credited as an executive producer alongside Kanye. Dash’s film company, Damon Dash Studios, is responsible for the production of the project.

“I’m going after Quentin Tarantino, Martin Scorsese, Wes Anderson and Woody Allen,” Dash says. “I’m going after Harvey Weinstein.”
