Puff Daddy recently spoke with Access Hollywood Live about his relationship and praise for Jennifer Lopez. During the interview, Puff was asked to analyze J. Lo’s “Booty” video with Iggy Azalea. Speaking of Lopez, Puff says he’s “lucky” that he’s dated her.

He’s asked why “we are so fascinated with the booty.” Diddy replies: “It’s great. It’s a work of art. It’s something that will go down in history…But also her talent, her drive, her determination. She will never give up.”

Beyond speaking about her body, Puff Daddy says he remains good friends with the star after their romantic relationship ended years ago.

“She’s a great friend of mine, always will be my friend, and I mean, that thing is just incredible, man,” he says.

During the interview, Puff is also asked if Kim Kardashian “is even in the same conversation.”

“No way,” Puff says. “No way. No disrespect to Kanye and Kim, but that thing right there is special. We spent three years of our lives together almost every single day.”

“We spent three years of our lives together, you know, almost every single day,” Lopez says. “As much as he roots for me and as proud as he is of me and of the time we had together, I am just as proud to see what he’s done.”

Lopez says that Puff Daddy has been more than a romantic interest in her life.

“He gave me so many cues and taught me so many things,” she says. “I’ll always be grateful to him for that and I love that he can be so supportive of me so many years later and that there’s still so much mutual respect, admiration and love there.”

Lopez adds that she has been proud of how her success has influenced people to view beauty in a different light, also.

“I will happily be the person to take credit for the fact that you can be proud of your body no matter what it is,” she says. “We all have value. We all have worth.”
