The New York Post broke some very interesting news about the recent Vibe Awards brawl. The paper said that the man who punched Dr. Dre and initiated the infamous fight was paid to do it.
Just who paid Jimmy James Johnson for such an atrocious act? Well in a supposed statement that was received by the New York Post, the man who paid $5000 for the punch that started it all was long time Dr Dre nemesis…Suge Knight The alleged statement says that not only did Johnson sucker punch Dr. Dre, but he also accompanied Suge and his entourage to the event.
But just how much substance does this statement have? Who knows? Johnson is a “three strike offender” and the paper noted that this just might be his attempt at getting his 15 minutes of fame before being locked up for life. Suge’s lawyer, David Chesnoff, rejected the concept immediately.
