Drake is scheduled to be the musical guest and host of the first episode of “Saturday Night Live’s” 2014 season. The YMCMB artist is slated to pull double duty on the January 18 installment of the late-night program.

The announcement was made during the program’s Christmas special and the show tweeted about it yesterday (December 21).

Drake first appeared on the late night program in October 2011. The Canadian rapper-singer appeared with labelmate Nicki Minaj, performing “Make Me Proud” with her. He also performed “Headlines,” was featured on the program’s “Weekend Update” segment and appeared in a digital short segment.
