Game Speaks On Possible Deal With Cash Money Records

With reports of Game signing to the Cash Money label published in October, the Compton rapper recently spoke to CivilTV about his relationship with the label and the ongoing process of signing a deal. As per a report published by MTV, Game has not yet officially signed with the label.

“Right now I’m just enjoying my free agency,” the OKE rapper said. “I had talks with Birdman and we’re trying to figure out what it’s going to be, how it’s gonna work.”

Game and Birdman acknowledged the possibility of the signing in October via social media.

Continuing, Game described his relationship with Birdman with an acknowledgement that a deal with the label was still possible and being worked out.

“It definitely could work,” he said, “I got a relationship with Wayne, Drizzy, and Stunna. It’s just trying to figure out what’s the best for Cash Money and what’s the best for Game at this point in his career. That’s pretty much family and that’s where I’m at at this point. Of course, nothing is written in stone, but that’s where I’m leaning, so, we’ll see.”

Game Discusses His Relationship With Khloe Kardashian

In the same interview, Game also clarified his relationship with TV personality Khloe Kardashian in response to media reports alleging their conducting an extramarital affair. In October, a picture of Game and Khloe together at a club was released with the Kardashian celebrity still wearing her wedding ring. Khloe Kardashian is married to NBA star Lamar Odom. The reports of an affair between Khloe and Game appear to be unfounded while coinciding with recent negative attention regarding her marriage to the athlete as well as speculation that the two are planning a divorce.

Game disputed any claims that he has engaged in a physical relationship with Khloe along with a description of how they met and became friends. “It’s not physical [or] sexual,” he said, “Khloe is like a sister to me and will always be a good friend to me and that’s where it stops. Lamar [Odom] is the homie. That’s his wife. Khloe is loyal to their marriage. That’s what it is. I understand the media and people see stuff and try to twist it. Tiffney ain’t never seen a picture of me with Khloe and ever came at me like, ‘Yo, what are you doing with Khloe?’ because that’s family, that’s what it is.

“Let me tell people something about me,” Game continued. “Khloe is one of my best friends in life. Me, Khloe, and three other of my friends who are all males, we had a house that we all rented that was in Burbank [California] when we all were struggling artists or trying to figure out where we go next or where we’re gonna end up in life, and Khloe was one of our roommates—we had a 5-bedroom house. It was me Khloe and two or three of my other friends—and that’s where me and Khloe’s relationship comes from.”

Speaking to his own relationship with fiance Tiffney Cambridge, Game added that he’s “got the best relationship in the world.” “We got two kids and we love the shit out of each other and it ain’t nothin’ cooler [or] better than that,” he said. “She’s amazing. She’s an amazing woman [and] mother and I appreciate her. My loyalty lies within her and my children and their livelihood.”

Game Details Work Of His The Robin Hood Project

Finally, Game described the nature of his charitable work, which falls under the scope of an initiative he’s dubbed The Robin Hood Project, to the online network.

“It’s about one man’s plight to try to help save people in situations that sort of rendered them helpless,” he said. “I don’t wanna partner with anybody. I’m doing this out of the kindness of my heart where I don’t wanna partner with anybody. I don’t want anybody to come in and try to taint my brand with that fake false sense of hope and help and peace and stop the violence that is only on a T-shirt. When you do it from your heart and it means a lot to you and you’re actually meeting the people that are affected and you’re handing money right to them and seeing the action right in your face it’s different than donating 25 cents a month to a kid somewhere that you’re never going to meet or see, I’m not with that. I’m just doing this out of the kindness of my heart. It’s about me and about the people that need help and that’s where it stops.”

Last month, Game donated $10,000 to a hurricane relief fund aiding victims of the recent typhoon in the Philippines. The rapper took to social media to issue an accompanying statement regarding the tragedy and his donation. 

“This hurts my heart knowing that many of those amongst the dead are little children. Every now & again there is a tragedy that strikes somewhere around the world as the previous Thailand Tsunsmi, Haiti Earthquake & the most vicious here in the states “HURRICANE KATRINA”….. It is in these times where we as people of this world get the opportunity to unite with one another & give back, help aid, lend a hand, donate or just send prayers……. Well I am one of those people, so on behalf of @therobinhoodproject & my charitable partner @DanBilzerian we are donating $10,000 to help aid in the relief efforts to restore whatever possible in such a horrific natural disaster.”
