Young Money/Cash Money Records is no stranger to making headlines with their business moves and yesterday was no exception.
Compton, California rapper Game became the newest signee of one of Hip Hop’s most powerful labels. YMCMB headman Birdman took to Twitter to relay the news.
“S/O 2MY@thegame Westcoast makit Official.RICHGANG.YMCMBusine$$,” he tweeted.
Baby also followed up early Sunday morning with an Instagram picture and the caption, “S/O thagame shit to real whtup 5 west coast whts popin RICHGANG YMCMBusine$$.”

Game would later add to the news by retweeting Birdman, among others, who also tweeted about the new move. He would also reply to Birdman, saying “time to close the door on these niggas !!!! R$CHGANG.”
Game released his latest mixtape, OKE (Operation Kill Everything) last week.
Following the release of Jesus Piece in 2012, Game became a free agent, no longer having to fill any obligations with Interscope Records, where he released his first five major label studio albums. The Compton, California rapper is preparing for his next album, which will likely be released by Cash Money.
