Ivory P, a rapper once affiliated with the Pimp C-founded UGK Records, was arrested on human trafficking and simple kidnapping charges following an incident, which took place earlier this week. The Houston Chronicle reports that Ivory P, real name Ivory Charles Pantallion III, was arrested along with his 24-year-old companion, Jessica Lynne Morgan, when a 19-year-old woman traveling with the pair phoned her mother after “fearing for her life.”
According to the Huntsville, Alabama teenager, her phone was taken while she was with Ivory P and Morgan who also went on to place an escort profile for the 19-year-old on various Websites.
“Once they arrived in Beaumont, the victim’s phone was taken away and she was given a prepaid phone,” said Lake Charles deputy chief Mark Kraus, according to the Houston Chronicle. “The victim was shown her personal web page on an internet site advertising her as an escort and was told she would provide escort services for men. After one night in Beaumont, the victim and suspects traveled to Lake Charles. Once in (Lake Charles), the suspects established another personal web page advertising the victim as an escort in the Lake Charles area.”
After the victim reached out to her mother with her location, authorities were able to locate the 19-year-old and both Ivory P and Morgan. Ivory P was subsequently jailed on $1 million bond while Morgan’s bond was set at half that amount.
