Rise-Ascend & Direction "Epic" Cover Art, Tracklist, & EP Stream

Rise-Ascend & Direction’s Epic EP is the first Hip Hop project ever released under Ingenious Records, a Miami, Florida-based indie pop and alternative imprint. This 5 track record showcases the emcee abilities of Rise-Ascend and the musical sounds of Direction.

The rapper-producer tandem uses their music to transmit their message and address rather serious issues, such as the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese government. Epic will be available for purchase on August 6.

Rise-Ascend & Direction released their first full album Hurry Up, Tell The World in 2011 and have kept things moving. Rise-Ascend is an emcee based in the Washington D.C. area and Direction the producer is based in Sweden. They were featured in a special presentation program produced by New York City-based international television station NTD for their humanitarian efforts.
