Eve plans to take her fashion line to the next level when it re-launches under her partnership with Marc Ecko Enterprises. Planning to reintroduce her collection of women’s sportswear, footwear, luggage and headwear in the fall of 2005, Eve believes the line will show more of her own personal style.
“It’s an ideal match working with Marc and his organization on the re-launch of Fetish. I’ve always appreciated Marc’s design sense and he seems to have a sophisticated understanding of me as a person and as a brand. I expect the new Fetish will offer consumers the same high caliber as the other products I’ve brought to market.” Founded in 1993 Marco Ecko has transformed his world famous rhino brand to not only distribute his own clothing line Ecko Unlimited but G-Unit Clothing Company(in a joint venture with 50 Cent) and Zoo York(a skateboard influenced line) and Femme Arsenal(an upscale women’s line). His company also publishes Complex magazine and runs over twenty five retail stores.
“I’m excited about this new partnership with Eve, not the least of which because I’ve been a fan of her music and artistry for a long time,” Marc Ecko said. “We foresee many synergies between Marc Ecko Enterprises and Eve as a brand and think she’s got an amazing fashion approach and vision, which will be reflected in the new Fetish line. In the next few weeks we’ll be putting the right team in place to make it happen”.
