Travis Scott got into a small scuffle with security at a recent basketball game, and it turns out it was due to the guard not being aware of who the rapper was.
On Tuesday (February 4), La Flame sat courtside as the Los Angeles Lakers took on the Los Angeles Clippers at the Intuit Dome, and all was well — until the end of the night.

Video shows Scott attempting to walk down the side of the court to the exit during let out, but he was momentarily stopped by a guard who ended up trying to pull his arm as the rapper yanked it free.
TMZ has since learned that the guard was a third-party employee hired by the Clippers to work the game. Apparently the man didn’t see a floor credential on the rapper so he hastily took action – and reps for the NBA team have since reached out to Travis to apologize.

The guard has been reassigned to a different location for future games.

On the music side of things, Travis Scott’s upcoming performance at Coachella in April will be one for the history books, according to the festival’s chief organizer.

Speaking to Palm Springs publication The Desert Sun, he said of Travis’ upcoming performance: “That’s going to be pretty interesting. He laid out what he wants to do.
“It’s a little too early to give any details, but I think it’s the most significant experience the festival has ever had. Anything that gives you a chance to walk around and see something that’s interesting, that’s what discovery is all about.”

The Utopia rapper will headline the Saturday night slots of the two-weekend festival (April 12 and 19), delivering what Tollett described as “a separate immersive experience located near the Sonora Tent.”
The Goldenvoice boss also addressed concerns about fan safety regarding Scott’s set following the tragedy at his Astroworld Festival in 2021 that killed 10 people.
“We’ve done Travis’ concerts before, and we know how to run this,” Tollett said. “It’s on the main stage where we have barricades set up and are prepared for any situation.”
Travis Scott was confirmed as a headliner for 2025 Coachella in November, with the official lineup poster billing his performance as “Travis Scott Designs the Desert.”
