Travis Scott‘s performance at next year’s Coachella will be one for the history books, according to the festival’s chief organizer.
Paul Tollett, president of the festival’s parent company Goldenvoice, has shared more insight into La Flame’s headlining set, hailing it as Coachella’s “most significant experience ever.”

Speaking to Palm Springs publication The Desert Sun, he said of Travis’ upcoming performance: “That’s going to be pretty interesting. He laid out what he wants to do.
“It’s a little too early to give any details, but I think it’s the most significant experience the festival has ever had. Anything that gives you a chance to walk around and see something that’s interesting, that’s what discovery is all about.”

The Utopia rapper will headline the Saturday night slots of the two-weekend festival (April 12 and 19), delivering what Tollett described as “a separate immersive experience located near the Sonora Tent.”
The Goldenvoice boss also addressed concerns about fan safety regarding Scott’s set following the tragedy at his Astroworld Festival in 2021 that killed 10 people.

“We’ve done Travis’ concerts before, and we know how to run this,” Tollett said. “It’s on the main stage where we have barricades set up and are prepared for any situation.”
Travis Scott was confirmed as a headliner for 2025 Coachella last month, with the official lineup poster billing his performance as “Travis Scott Designs the Desert.”
A press release contained more details, revealing that the “Cactus Jack desert takeover” will “curate a fully immersive and experiential world within the desert.”
It also promised that he will “debut an entirely new era of music to the world,” further fueling excitement that a new album is in the works.

It will be the first time in eight years that Scott has performed at the Indio, California festival after the 2020 edition was canceled due to COVID-19 and his appearance in 2022 was axed following the aforementioned Astroworld tragedy.
An online petition calling for the rapper’s removal amassed over 70,000 signatures, citing his “gross negligence and sheer lack of compassion for human life” during the fatal fan crush at his Astroworld festival.
He was then replaced by Kanye West, who was rumored to bring out Travis as a surprise guest — before Yeezy dropped out of the festival weeks before it was scheduled to take place.
In addition to Travis Scott, the 2025 Coachella lineup also includes co-headliners Post Malone, Green Day and Lady Gaga, as well as Missy Elliott, Ty Dolla $ign, Mustard, Three 6 Mafia, Megan Thee Stallion and more.
