In a previously unreleased video featuring noted battle rappers Serius Jones and Math Hoffa, the two emcee’s discussed their battle on MTV’s Fight Klub, a battle that was never before seen by the general public. While speaking on the somewhat mysterious battle, Math explained that he was disqualified and feels it wasn’t a true win for Serius.
“You see this guy right here? He didn’t body nobody. I got disqualified okay. He didn’t body nobody. It’s fuckin’ four rounds. It’s three rounds in a Fight Klub, if they can’t call it they go to four,” Math explained. “He was the favorite, you know how the Fight Klub do. So when they got to three they was like ‘Damn, we can’t give it to Math. We gotta do something for this nigga.’ So they gave him the fourth, disqualified me, he took the win. But I got disqualified. He didn’t body me.”
Serius also added his two cents during the interview and even spoke on the lack of respect battle rap sometimes receives. He also encouraged Math to “get his weight back up” if he was looking for a re-match.
“At the end of the day nigga’s need to respect this platform. Nigga’s done put they work in. We had a couple of little words and shit. He was just talking shit about me, but it’s all good…He gotta get his weight back up to fuck with a nigga,” said Serius.
