Platinum selling artist Lil’ Troy will be signing a new contract with KOCH Entertainment this week. Lil’ Troy is looking to release his new album very soon and with the signing of a new label his album is looking for huge sales. For those that know very little about Lil’ Troy the next few paragraphs will show you what a great emcee Lil’ Troy really is.

There are several record producers and artists in this world with the dream to get them to the top, but there are few who have the perseverance, the integrity, the attitude and the drive to get them there. Out of Houston comes one who possesses all of these qualities, Lil’ Troy.

Lil’ Troy was born and raised in South Park, Houston Texas, delivered into a musical family. Troy, who says that he believes strongly in education, played the alto sax and was first chair all the way through high school in the band. He believes that his childhood background is the main reason behind his love for the music business. His mother was even given an offer to go on the road and record with Lou Rawls (yes, The Lou Rawls). According to Troy, “She declined because she had only recently been married to his father, and she did not want to leave him”. “I’m glad she didn’t go because everything would have been different and I might not even be here.”

Lil’ Troy personally knew the late great Easy E, been label mates with East Coast Don Jay Z. In addition to these accomplishments, Lil’ Troy has executively produced products of 3-2 and Mista Fingers, he has overseen the release of five other albums, including “Anti-N–“, “A-Machine”. Two for Rapper Rasheed (“Living in the Ghetto,” and “Funk In The Air”) and three albums with Mass 187, one of which, “Real Trues Paying Dues,” was selected up by Polygram, re-released nationwide, and featured a remix by super-producer Crazy C.
