Hip-hop heads should be prepared as the first hip-hop concert of the year gets set to hit the road on January 7th. Slum Village, DJ Scratch representing The Roots and R&B artist Dwele will begin a two week tour traveling to such cities as New York, Tennessee and Florida. DJ Scratch, who just completed the Okayplayer Winter Break Tour with The Roots, will be the opening act for all shows. Dwele will be out to promote his debut album “Subject” and Slum Village will be supporting their last album “Trinity (Past, Present and Future)” with the hit song “Tainted” featuring Dwele.
