After working hard to keep Chopper City Records name in the streets, B.G. is learning that his health should be his first priority.

On August 7th, the former Cash Money member was traveling from Los Angeles to Atlanta when he began to have chest pains. B.G. checked his self into Cedars Sinai Medical Center and was diagnosed with exhaustion. He remained in the hospital for two days before he was released to go home.

“I’ve been working too much, just being on the road and in the studio,” B.G. told MTV. “He admits that he got a little shook by the brief hospital stay, and that he may have to start monitoring his work schedule. “I’ve got to take it easy, lie low, be cool and work at a slower pace.” What has been keeping the label owner so busy is the formation of his new group Chopper City Boyz as well as his own solo album that he wants to put out by January.

The Chopper City Boyz who B.G believes will fill a missing void in hip-hop consists of Hakim, Sniper, B.G and Gar. “They what the industry’s been missing,” B.G said .”It’s gonna be big. It’s both street and gangsta — and it has hooks”.
