Shyne and Sean “Diddy” Combs have reportedly patched up their differences during a phone call.

During an interview with MTV News, Shyne, who served a near nine-year bid for a club shooting with Puff, has reconciled with the Bad Boy mogul over the phone and plan to meet in the upcoming weeks.

“As far as Puff is concerned, that’s been a long time coming,” he said. “He had reached out to me twice while I was in the pen, but I just wasn’t ready for it.”

While Shyne took the rap for the 1999 shooting, he says that Diddy always held him down and that he eventually became ready to speak with him. Now, the two plan to meet in Paris, France in the forthcoming weeks and have a “roundtable.”

“I felt how I felt, I said what I said. In retrospect, when you looked at the way he handled it, he held it down, he wore it,” he said. “He ain’t had nothing to say; always had good things to say. It was always, ‘Yo, whatever Shyne need, we got him.’”
