Nicki Minaj and David Guetta opened the 2011 American Music Awards tonight, running through their collaborative cut “Turn Me On” as well as her solo smash “Super Bass.”
Emerging to the sound of the cut, a scantily clad Nicki sang her way through their pop hit, mingling with similarly outfitted backup dancers during the performance. The Young Money spitter ripped into “Super Bass” mid-gig, rounding out the opening set with some pop-rap flair.
