With his song “Pump It Up” being blasted on radios, clubs and television stations worldwide, Joe Budden’s seems to be on the quick road to success. There may only be one slight problem. He has developed a polyp on his vocal cord. So you are probably thinking what the hell is that? Doctor’s say it is like a callus or blister that attaches to the vocal cord to cause someone to lose their voice.

Depending on how bad the polyp can be surgery may be required. If the growth has to be removed there is a possibility that a permanent scar could remain on the vocal cords as well as hoarseness in the voice. Though it has not been said whether or not Joe will endure the surgery, he is still on the tour circuit as a part of the Def Jam Vendetta tour hosted by Method Man and is still preparing to release his anticipated album Joe Budden on June 10th.
